LA Theatre Works’ production of SEVEN was in the middle of a 27-city tour of the U.S. when the pandemic closed down theatre venues across the country. But LATW thought it was important for people to have access to our play during the time of quarantine–and so they are making it available to audiences for free as an audiobook. The documentary play, written by Carol K. Mack, Ruth Margraff, Anna Deavere Smith, Gail Kriegel, Catherine Filloux, Susan Yankowitz–and me–is the real life story of seven human rights workers who risk their lives to battle corruption, injustice, and violence towards women. MS Magazine picked up the story, which you can read here.
