The timeless story, a single person, seemingly powerless, facing an unjust law. Will she stand up for what is right? Will anyone join her? This contemporary update of Sophocles’ play puts its namesake Antigone front and center, rather than Creon (as in the original). Ismene becomes Esme, and reminds us she is still here.
