As we get closer and closer to being able to be together–live, in person–for performances, adjustments get made! INVISIBLE (music by Guang Yang, libretto by Paula Cizmar) was rehearsed outdoors in a socially distanced responsible way–in a board member’s back patio. Then dress rehearsal happened in Bruns Amphitheatre–an outdoor venue–and we (composer and librettist) got to check in via the conductor’s Zoom feed. All of this leading up to West Edge Opera presenting an excerpt from INVISIBLE as part of Snapshot 2021.
